Anyone tried the Mefos out?

They might not be appropriate for lots of mud and stuff like that. But I ride pretty close to a real 50/50 dual sport, with very little mud and/or sand. Lots of forest service roads, mining exploration roads, skid roads, etc and so forth. And of course the miles on the slab.

Saw these and they reminded me of the Enduro style tires we had on our old Yami enduros back in the late 60's and early 70's that served us so well no matter where we took our bikes. ...

6 V electrics, kick start, gawdawful suspension, yet somehow a sweet bike. My 27-year newer WRR is definetely more bad ass, but not any more fun!

Oh so nooooooowwwwwwwwww I get it... Worst. Tire. EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I picked up the poor WR no fewer than 5 times today riding with those worthless hunks of rubber. Wonderful on the street and even let me drag the pegs, but on the trail, they are beyond garbage. I made the mistake of getting a 606 in the rear and having the stock front. Oops. Threw my back out and about had a heart attack picking the dang bike up.

DO NOT GET THESE TIRES!

OK, I feel better now. Carry on.

I've had my WR for a couple of months but not much time to ride. I finally had a trip planned which included a stop to visit a friend in Fayetteville and then after that two days at our place in the Ouachitas.

The ride in Fayetteville was great and my WR kept up with my friends KTM big single with no issues on gravel roads and paved. I road his bike and have to say the WR is much smoother.

I then trailered the bike to our place in the Ouachitas and while backing up the trailer hit a big ...

I believe that some of you have installed tachometers on your WRRs. Would you share with the rest of us what RPMs you are turning at various speeds. I am running the stock gearing and stock size tires and am curious what my RPM is in 6th at 70 MPH, in 5th at 60 MPH etc. My odometer seems pretty accurate; about 3% high. The speedometer is another story, seems like about 10% high. I know these bikes can be reved pretty high but wonder about cruising down the road in 5th at 65MPH. Also wondering ...

Hey i have seen this on ebay the passed year now and the guy is still selling them so i asoom that people must be buying them.

They are a so called HP performance chip for the WR250R/X. And from my knowledge all it does is tricks the FI and pushes more fuel.

But idk... So i was wondering if any of you guys bought one and tryed it out? And what your option was on it.

Here is the ebay link
