1970 DT1C

Hi guys, new here. I have this DT1 all original, taking it to the Mecum classic auction in Vegas next week. If it sells going to put the money toward a wr250R

Nice looking. Are you the original owner? I lived on a 1970 DT175 while in college in LA. Used to get pulled over while doing 35 in a 40mph. I asked the cop why I was being pulled over and he said it is because he never saw a black and yellow plate on a motorcycle. Wish you the best on the sale. Are you buying a new or used WR? Plan on meeting up with a Fresno rider for a Death Valley dual sport ride. Let me know if you are ever up for that.

Bought it from the original owners son after he passed so actually I'm 3rd owner, amazes me how an enduro could be that clean being 44 years old. It was non op from 95 to 2013. I bought it last July, got all new lights, battery, tires etc. everything works. Had a new 71' RT1 (360) in 71" course I had to strip it down for desert racing. Looking at a new 13' WR

The DT1 brought $4000 I was looking for 4500 but it didn't happen. Called the local Yam dealer and told them I'd take their new 13'WRR and a 3.1 gal IMS tank, pick them up next week.
