I know, crappy photo of results printout. Sorry but I can tell you this bike woke up. PCV with AFR and ignition adjustablity. Gained about 2 1/2hp and about 1fp of torque. Most important got rid of a really annoying lag in the midrange.

Thanks for the pic, and congrats that it's running so well.

Are you saying that you made those gains just with tuning, not with any additional mods? (I'm not sure what PCV and AFR is...)

Maybe its just cause I'm old, but I really don't find the power all that limited on the WRR stock. IMHO, its got plenty of power. The limitation for me is the buffeting and instability at higher speeds, especially in the wind. But this is all a matter of riding conditions and how you use the bike. In west Texas we don't deal with mud much, mostly sand and wind. We don't need much extra power to get up all the hills, that's for sure.

Yeah it's really close to perfect.  A little more power for hooliganism would be welcomed, but more important for me is an extra 5mph or so cruising speed.  I'm in Texas too, but east Texas.  Speed limits here are 70 on back roads and 75 interstate. You have those speeds out west Texas too, but IMO more people drive slower out west, and you tend to have plenty of passing opportunities.  Here, it's crowded and fast paced on the roads, and lots of places where you can't pass, so you're likely to get run over or at the very least tick people off if you ride 60 on two lanes. I'm always sass fly surprised when I take my bike to places where the speed limits are 55-60. Here I wanna be able to cruise comfortable at 75 (actual gps speed not indicated) regardless of wind or incline.  It's just not quite there stock...

You're right about being blown around at those speeds, but that is kinda fun for me, you definitely have to pay attention and keep a margin for error Very happy

I'm old not bold and my hooligan days are behind me. I have had Jett Tune dyno and work on several bikes and have always been happy. My Kawasaki Concours drank dinasour juice like it would never run out. Jett Tune wrote a map for economy and I lost 3hp (jeez it went from 163hp at the wheel to 160hp, like I'm gonna miss that) but mpg improved by 15%. Main reason for the dyno session was to make it run right and let John and Ryan have a nice long look at it and make certain all is well.

I am happy it makes a bit more power but much happy with the smoother and more even power delivery.

Mention was made of highway use and I have and will be making a 21 mile each way commute with 18 miles of SoCal freeway. Gearing higher is in my near future.

I'm an old fart too, but you'd be surprised how much more fun (and capable) the bike is with the few extra ponies that mods make. The stock engine is really strangled...
