Hello from Delaware!

Just took delivery of a 2010 Wr250X with a little over 1000 miles on it!

Took a quick ride and here are my first impressions

- bike feels very light and very easy to move around in, compared to my sm610 it feels like this bike weighs 50 lbs.

- bike doesnt have the low end grunt that the husky has of course but no vibration and the motor reminds me more of a small 2 stroke with its powerband and seemingly endless rev limit

-overall quality of everything seems top notch like you would expect from honda or yamaha

Cant wait to throw some parts on it!

Funny, I've always lusted after a SM610. I looked at a few Huskys but never test drove one. I realized that for what I needed, a 250 was good enough, and the WRx seemed like a better overall bike.

You say an endless rev limit, I find I bounce off it way too soon...

I love the Sm610, balls for days, lots of fun, but just seems like the wr250 is a better everyday bike to pop around on. Gets better gas mileage at least lol

I guess im used to riding the husky which seems to slam into the rev limit very quickly so it felt like the wr250 had lots and lots of revs

Im in Middletown right next to Mtown high.

Im throwing a 12T on the front so we will see if I can smash into the rev limiter quicker :)
