Acerbis Chain Slider... Anyone try it?

Judging by it's elusiveness, I'm doubtful the item actually exists for our bikes.

Chaparral Racing lists it as available for the 2012 WR250R, and someone linked to it in the "Swingarm Eaten By Chain" sticky thread a year ago. I'm just curious if anyone went for it and ordered one. It's not shown on Motorcycle-Superstore, or Rocky Mountain ATV... which tells me it's a typo.

I'd love a cheaper alternative to OEM, since it appears to be a yearly maintenance item.

I bought a TM Design works (one of the more inexpensive ones) and it is the bomb. Wears like iron and is petroleum impregnated so it helps keep chain lubed. A bit pricey but IMO worth it.

Doesn't look like they make it anymore. It used to be on Chaparral, but isn't anymore... and it's not listed on the manufacturers online store.

I agree, it would be good if someone else made these sliders other than OEM. They could probably make some money on them being it's a wear-out prone item on these bikes.

I checked the TM website and I could not find one that fits the wrr or wrx, did you get the one for the wrf ?
