busted the starter switch

Subject: busted the starter switch Sat Oct 11, 2014 12:56 pm

it is just the little gray button part that popped out during a crash

i managed to stick it back in there and some tape to hold it...

has anyone ripped out the stock start/stop kill switch thing and replaced with the dirt bike style push button one?

I replaced the light switch on the left with a cheap generic one. It isn't as high quality as OEM but much cheaper and it works.

I would grab the OEM switch. Those press button dirtbike switches are only off when pressed. Which means your fuel pump will be on and primed every time you have they key on. May not hurt it but if wasn't designed to work that way and probably not worth risking damage.
