PostSubject: Introducing myself (from NC)   Sat Feb 14, 2015 8:58 am

Hi, my name is George and I just signed up here.

My intention apart from reading about bikes and checking out cool threads is also to promote/sell
a product I invented a couple of years ago called The Helmet Hook.

I actually tried writing a moderator to ask a few questions but for some reason I couldn't
send the message so I'll ask here.

From looking at the rules, I should be ok posting something but i wanted to know if
I post a thread, can I at a later date change the original POST? Ie, I've posted in other
forums and wanted later to go in and add info or make changes but I couldn't as there
was a time limit so I have had to ask a mod to do it and I hate bugging them.

Anyway, I live in NC and this is the fourth country I've lived in. I've been here since 97
and have had a few bikes since. a 750 Zephyr, a scooter, a DRZ-400s and now have
a V-Strom that's up for sale. My biggest problem has been that (and yes, it's a personal problem
as most don't seem to be bothered by it) but I can't handle the heat. I feel like I'm cooking when
I'm out riding and I simply can't handle it. I hate it 'cause I prefer bikes over cagers...

Actually, that's how I came up with my Helmet Hook. I had problems one day and dropped my helmet
something like 4 times in one day and that's when I went home and thought that there had to be a better way.

George
