| While working on a recent "rescue project" I decided to look into a lift table & was reluctant to #1 spend that much money & #2 have something that big in my smallish shop area. After some digging I found this company http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/ within 10 miles of my home and they had a scissor lift for $75.07 OTD. I'm extremely impressed with the rigidity & the convenience. I'm pissed that I waited so long to get one of these. It secures to the table with these j bolts to the foot pegs. Quick, easy & very secure. | |

| nice... and enough height to help save your back from aching..
I like the peg hold down set up.. the hooks would save having to take the thumb screw completely off...
thanks for posting | |

| That would work great in my garage I went to the web site and it was $88.00 to ship to my house I then checked and the nearest one is 65 miles from my house so I guess 20 bucks for gas would be worth it to go and pick one up. | |

| That's a nice-looking stand. Unfortunatley, it won't fit under my lowered WRR.
Anyone try one of these??

http://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Center-Scissor-Hoist-Stand/dp/B00E8HGCEY/ref=pd_sbs_auto_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0YMMSMBKYQQHN7GJZWH1 Roll the bike onto a piece of 2x6 front & rear then slide the stand under the bike. Then you can enjoy the benfits of the taller scissor lift. The scissor lift you reference is normally used on table lifts to lift the rear wheel off the table.

| That's a pretty neat lift. |

| I tried one of the those scissor lifts. It was not that stable front to back. I could not take a wheel off without it wanting to topple.
I ending up with a table lift. MUCH better. If centered properly I can pull either wheel off without toppling. I also use the table for tools and bits while I'm working. It can be raised much higher than a scissor lift making work a breeze. When down the table slides right under the bike with no fuss (at least with WR250F).
Here's the one I got >>Lift Table
I yanked the handle off as it was bulky and so it can live under my shop table when not in use.

Did you look at the specs for that lift? Max weight is 300 lbs, right at the edge of what the WRR weighs wet (more with a big tank full of gas). I have had the Harbor Freight lift (1500 lb capacity) for more than a decade and have never had any problems with it; with the frequent discounts HF has, that lift doesn't cost much more than the Greg Smith lift did originally.

| I'm using the one from NT: https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200641776_200641776
My bike is lowered and this one has a low enough profile to slide under the frame. Used it about a year so far, it's working well. I do use tie downs on the bike so it doesn't fall off, on the stand the bike is butt-heavy.
