I have ridden many DS bikes with the TKC80 on them, for many many miles.
Love the tires.
But my question is this.
On the much smaller and lighter 250r is it still a great tire?
Does anyone know?
If so what sort of psi are you running them at?
Thanks

I have used the TKC80's on many dual sports and love them. I immediately put them on my WR250R and was impressed. I use stock pressure on the street and for off road rides go to 15 front and 15 rear. They work great on both the street and off road in all conditions. I have since put on a Pirelli MT43 on the back to try it out. Not sure of it yet. It sticks like glue in the hard dirt and rock areas, but not sure on loose sand and mud. Time will tell. The TKC 80 is good everywhere.

Did either of you check how the TKC80's balanced ? Asking because the only one I ever had was on a KTM990 Adventure when I bought it, and it needed more wheel weights than I've EVER seen on a rear tire. The tire gets good reviews for longevity and adaptability to wide variety of terrains, so just wondering (for future reference) if mine was an anomaly that I should not judge the tire by. dunno
