PostSubject: Programmer question   Sun Apr 19, 2015 9:02 pm

So I was reading a bit and guys are talking about wheelies and better ride with diff adjustments on there programmers. I currently have the fmf and cannot get the wheel up unless I drop the clutch pretty hard in 2nd. Third - forget it. 1st I can power wheelie but run out of gear very quickly. Ive made adjustments to my programmer and cannot tell any diff what so ever. Im not even sure the thing is working. Should I be able to get the wheel up in second gear without dropping the clutch? scratch I can open the throttle full twist in 2nd and it just darts strait and no loft at all. Sleep Still want a 450f baldy

Technique. Max torque comes at around 8k so that is where it will be easiest to get up with no clutch.

You need to do it way lower than 8k. If you do it at 8000, you start loosing torque right away, instead og "building it up" so to speak.

Try pulling the bars a bit.

I just checked my rpms wth 14/48 gearing.

Running steady at 5000rpm, blip the throttle quick to 5500rpm and close the throttle, when the front suspension is at its lowest, wack the throttle, and she comes up nicely.
