I picked up my 2008 WR250R about a week ago. It used to be motomark39's (on advrider) bike. It has the following mods:

*Renthal Fat Bar(on Yamaha oversize bar clamps)
*Cycra handguards
*Yamalink lowering link
*FMF Powerbomb header
*FMF Q4 muffler
*FMF FI Programmer
*Yamaha GYTR 45T rear sprocket (stock included)
*Regina oring chain
*AIS block off kit installed
*Bulletproof radiator guard
*Utah Sports skid plate
*Air box flapper removed.
*EXUP went out with stock exhaust.

He set me up quite well with all this. Hello from Huntsville AL and a WR250R 525406 I bought the bike with less than 400 miles on it. Hello from Huntsville AL and a WR250R 983966

I used to ride this which is a 2001 Kawasaki Super Sherpa. I watched as someone drove off with it in the back of their truck yesterday. Hello from Huntsville AL and a WR250R 342500 I really did love that bike, but I did not need it any more. I hope that he loves it as much as I did.

Welcome to the pack! Hello from Huntsville AL and a WR250R 61865 I felt like that when I sold my 600, but after riding the R² about a week I never looked back.

What do you have? Hello from Huntsville AL and a WR250R 724854

I remember your JC Witney mirrors now. So do you NEED to make fun of my new bike?

For the rest that don't know, I used to work with 1moreroad.

True but I do miss a couple things right now.

1. The very low seat height made it really easy to ride anywhere.

2. The low speed performance was really good on the Sherpa. I keep on killing the WR in places where the Sherpa would keep on running. I think the problem is that I only have 13/45 gearing at this time. I think that I will have to find a 46 or 47 sprocket and try out.

3. The Sherpa was lighter.

That said, the WR has noticablely more power and will climb long hills on pavement with more authority.
