Hey folks, doing research on the WR. Have dreams of travels to far off lands, but don't know how to ride dirt. WR will be the bike to learn on. Have a triumph tiger explorer for the long haul, but its a heavy beast to take to more rustic places. Will be selling a Versys and K1200r to fund the dirt adventures.

Welcome Lonerockz. Whereabouts in the Bay area are you located?

Welcome from Missouri! You will like the weight of the WR, especially in the true off road riding. I also have a KLR 650 and was limited with a 400+ pound bike when it came to rough riding. The WR is a blast at what ever you ask it to do. ENJOY!! Mark
