Did a pavement and off-road trip on my new Tubliss & Mitas E-07 combo today. Superbly washboarded FS road, wet and dry dirt with mixed rock, gravel stretches, forest floor and grasses, and relatively dry highway at either end. Also climbed a pretty steep greasy hill without any fuss or muss that I had not done so well on before when trying to claw my way though with Michelin AC10s when it was dry. I think I might have found something that'll suit my riding style for most conditions -- and they felt so smooth and cushy with an all-day ride on 15 pounds front and rear. Never even bothered to air down to a lower pressure. And a big improvement on the pavement too!

I was immediately sold on the Mitas E-07 rear. When the E-07 front arrived I wondered if the lugs would be deep enough to keep me tracking where I wanted to be, and also have a long life. I'm thinking now that for anything other than mud they are gonna be great, but of course the verdict is still out on front tire life, though I'm sure it will do better than the AC10!

Dumb question will the Mitas E-07 90/90-21 fit the standard 21" rim on the WR250R (stock 80/100-21)?

I assume that's the one you got, I don't see the OEM size listed on any site?

Thanks!

Hey Gordo,

Indeed, I got the 90/90-21 54T TT Dakar. Diggin' it plenty at lower pressures.
