Has anyone tried this in their bike? I have the full FMF + programmer and was thinking trying some this weekend.

Hopefully my bike doesn't BOOM

VP100 (aka StreetBlaze 100)

TYPICAL VALUES
• Color: Orange
• Motor Octane: 96
• R+M/2: 100
• Specific Gravity: .746 at 60° F

Oxygenated with ethanol, this CARB-legal fuel is specifically engineered for high-performance motorcycles and more. It's environmentally friendly and street legal throughout the U.S. VP100 makes substantially more power than pump gas as well as offering better throttle response, a critical factor when navigating jumps, streams or around trees. Its higher octane also offers better detonation protection for extreme conditions such as slogging through mud or sand washes with the throttle pinned. When unleaded fuel is required, VP100 is a very cost-effective option in terms of performance gained for dollars spent compared to pump gas (VP’s U4.2 offers even better performance gains when leaded fuels are permitted). Contains no metal compounds and won't harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors.

If you can change your fuel mapping and timing it might work, I would be worried about pinging, (pre-ignition) = piston damage, is it worth it to you to try this, a new motor or rebuild is not cheap, your money. cheer`s

If your engine is stock and has no modifications that would require high octane to resist pinging, I wouldn't be surprised if your bike felt slower.

I called VP racing and they said VP100 is more for cars. The best product for stock 4 strokes bike is T4.

It's also reviewed in dirtrider:
http://www.dirtrider.com/tests/vp-racing-t4-unleaded-oxygenated-fuel

and in cycleworld:
http://www.cycleworld.com/2012/07/09/vp-racing-t4-its-a-gas/

TYPICAL VALUES
• R+M/2: 100
• Motor Octane: 93
• Specific Gravity: .745 at 60° F

T4 is designed for stock or slightly modified 4-stroke bikes, quads, UTVs, SXSs and other off-road vehicles used in competition. Unleaded and ethanol-free, T4 is a direct pour-in replacement for premium pump gas, which has a short storage life and has caused a heightened need for repairs in the powersports industry due to its ethanol content. While riders facing extreme conditions are forced to add octane boosters or race fuel to increase the octane of pump gas, T4’s 100 octane rating (R+M/2) provides greater protection against detonation. Compared with more expensive performance parts that increase power along only a small slice of the power curve, T4 offers 2-3% more power and better throttle response across the entire RPM range.

I use 91 but I filled up with 87 last night....(don't know why I grabbed the 87 nozzle) I swear its more responsive (butt dyno of course) actually stayed out a couple more hours than usual..just enjoying the crispy throttle response

My friend gave me container of vp101 I mixed in 3:1 with regular gas, so in theory a 94 octane. I noticed a little bump in low end power, nothing much.
My conclusion is save the money on expensive gas and put is towards other upgrades!
