Well, like others here, I sold my KLR and moved to the WR250R. I will definitely welcome something much lighter off road! I found a 2015 with 11 miles for 4600 bucks and I already have an appointment with my dealer for the stator recall. wink Very impressed with the bike so far....cruises great on the street. It has to be in the right gear with the lack of torque but wind this baby up and it does impressively well! thumb

Here she is.....let the mods begin....

Welcome to the club, once you ride for a while maybe check into a 47-to maybe a 49 tooth rear sprocket makes the bike way better for off road and does not hurt on road, cheer`s

Welcome to the Former KLR Club 13/48 sprockets work best for me on mountain single track trails. A skid plate is a must for any serious off roading. I like the Flatland Skid Plate
If you decide to add a cargo rack down the road. I like the IMMIX rack and the Rapid Transit bag is a perfect fit.  I used the bag on my KLR. Rack is also pre-drilled for a RotoPax gas jug mount. The bag is a good fit on top of the jug.
