Hi,

I ordered new fuel pump, just for spare. Take it with me when out of country.
Mine isnt broke!!!
Did read the sticky topic, fule pump, lots of info!!!

Do i need to disconnect the internal black hose, or can it be left connected.
If to disconnect, asume its tough or possible brittle or fossilized.

Asume its the pressure hose and needs to be tight.

How did you do at this point?

Anybody having the full OEM casing as a left over?

Some say you don't have to disconnect the hose. I did, but the replacement hose must handle the pressure and be tight on the pump body. I believe there's no practical way to disconnect the OEM hose other than to destroy it, as it's a shrink fit on the pump spigots.

I was able to leave old hose in place, had to 'tip' the pump and slide it out. Made it easier to dremel tabs down as you need to depress in 3 locations to release pump.
