I put an order in for mine. Currently in my area they are all sold out. One shop will be getting 2 next week and 1 has my name on it. cheers

I sold the KLR to move to current technology, and become more nimble.

EFI...Here I come....no more carburetors in the stable!

Welcome. It will be interesting to hear your opinions on how the little Yamaha compares to the KLR on the highways/freeways.

There seems to be quite a few WR250R owners from the Twin Cities on this forum. In the future, we'll have to organize a ride or get together of some sort.

I just bought a used WRR as my first bike. Still getting used to things, but hoping to hit some trails this summer.

+1 for MN riders. I too traded my KLR(650) for the WR250R...and loving it!

Found there is no contest between the KLR and the WRR. WRR far outshines it in every way except seat, and bar width so far. for a 250 this thing really scoots. all my farkles including a seat, and wider bars will be coming within the next 2 weeks. Cant wait to get the bike sorted out with my stuff and broken in. then I can actually start running it on the trails.

The first place I would love to go is St. Croix State park. Hopefully that will be a nice place to take it for it's first run. hopefully it's gentle and not a ton of sand.
