A while back (July) I posted a story about running into someone who works at UCLEAR Digital while standing line with my helmet at a grocery store here in Idaho.  I visited the UCLEAR office, bought a helmet communicator from them, loved it.  Later bought another one, etc.

Long story short, due to that chance meeting and the relationship that developed, I have now left my old position at a non-profit, and joined the UCLEAR team full time as Major Account Manager.  I work with powersports dealers and distributors who supply them like Kimpex in Canada and WPS and Tucker Rocky in the USA.

While I will not ever attempt to use this forum as a platform to push UCLEAR or disparage its competitors, I welcome questions from any members who would like to ask questions, get help, etc.  I can answer anyone's questions about UCLEAR products if you want answers straight from the source, or questions in general about helmet comms.

I'm just another WRR rider who loves this forum for discussions and to seek advice about my WRR.  I was active on this forum long before joining UCLEAR.

Grip it and rip it!

Ahhh, yeah, were tired of snow. My WR is just sitting in the garage looking loney, pathetic, and pissed about being ignored... kind of like a jilted wife. Can't be certain, but I'm pretty sure it tried to trip me with its kickstand, on purpose, when I was walking passed it to my truck the other day. I'm planning to buy it a custom seat from Fishers Saddlebags in Eagle this month to win back a little love. Hahahaha...

I braved the cold and snow last Sunday briefly. Put on warm stuff, then tried to get a ride in just to see how the 280 kit felt. Slithered through the snow in the field to get to the dirt road in our neighborhood. Driveway is a sheet of ice, so thought plowing through the snow would work. It does, but not well. Then the dirt road, which was solid with mud puddles and patches of ice, then the paved road. It was raining lightly, and I only went a couple miles down the road. Enough to figure a tire was low (should have checked it, but looked fine) and that I needed to play with the tuner a little. Had a heck of a time trying to keep my face shield from fogging, and it was right about freezing and raining. Turned around and slithered back to the house. Will try again the next time it's 40 or so. This freezing cold, wet and snowy thing just isn't entertaining.

That's really cool that you got a job in the powersports industry. If I thought I could replace my income straight across, I'd switch. Tired of the auto service industry.
