Hello all. New guy here. New to WR's, new to dual sport, not new to motorcycles. A friend of mine here in town picked up a CRF250L last year which sort of lit the fire in me for a small dual sport. Near Hood River there are a ton of great roads, fire roads, and single track, so this style of bike is a great fit.

I did my research and decided on the WR for performance reasons. I'm not sure tall, so I'm going to need to make some ride height adjustments, but otherwise, this bike is super fun to ride.

More about the bike...

It's a 2013 WR250R with a supermoto wheelset in addition to the stock wheels with dual sport tires. The SM wheels are currently on it with the Shinko 705's. It has too many upgrades to list, but probably the best most noteworthy and obvious is the Safari tank.

Only question I have right now is whether I should use paint or plasti-dip to freshen up some of the plastics. Leaning towards plasti-dip, but wondering if any of you all have used paint and if so if you would recommend it again.

Sorry, only picture I have taken so far.

Welcome Hood River! I buy most of my windsurfing equipment from Windance, out of Hood River. As for the plastics, have you tried a magic eraser on them?

Nice! Went to their annual swap meet last year. Cool place. I just started kite boarding last year. Hoping to get out on the water a lot more this year!

This crossed my mind. Might give it a shot? I'm thinking about mixing it up a bit with some black. We'll see!

I've used Scotchbrite pads on white plastic. It did remove a lot of the stains but also removed the shine. I have used spray paint made for plastic on MC parts and it can produce a very nice finish. I'm assuming it also will scratch right off again with any abuse.

It's a trailer hitch mount jack/lift.

I was wondering if it had a jack or you had to lift it. Pretty cool
