Retired, 68Yrs. Been riding dirt since the mid 70's, coming from the DRZ400 and DR650.
Just got an '09 WR250R with 4000 miles, a Q4 muffler and power programmer Full of questions.

Live in central WI 54473, looking for WR250R riders in the area.

Welcome! I'm in Wisconsin too, but don't think very close at all. I made with the switch from the big DR to the WRR last year too.

Welcome! At 41 I bought my very first motorcycle last year, a 2016 WR.
I'm down in New Berlin. Not much off-road stuff accessible down here, but there are several great dual-sport events around the state throughout the year.
I had tons of fun as brand new rider last year (learning that my decades of mountain biking were helpful, but not magic, in off-road motorcycling).

Hope to see you out on the dirt!

Registration is open for the Wabeno June ride and already 1/3 full. Hope to see you both there. I got my spot!

Another shout-out from WI. I've got a 2015 WR250R. Located just south of Madison.
Also a little newer to riding, starting a few years ago at the tender age of 45 with the WR. Also leveraging my mountain biking experience (not quite the same, eh?).

Looking to get up into central/northern WI to explore the TWAT, Langlade County area, and further north. Not a lot of off-road to ride on in southern WI.

Mostly been commuting and road-exploring on the WR, but now that I have an Super Tenere, the WR is shifting over to more off-road duty.
