Greenhorn looking at getting a WR250R. Is it possible to add a kick start? Is not having one a major issue if battery dies? Still able to push start, correct?

If the battery is so depleted that it cannot even prime the fuel pump, then you cannot even push start the bike.

But no, this is not a problem: with pocket-size batteries that are powerful enough to jump-start cars, there is no reason to have kick starters anymore.

Kickstart cannot be added since the engine was not designed for one from the start.
There is literally no place to put the kickstart shaft and related parts.

Thanks for the replies. It's been a few years since I've ridden and I haven't kept up with the technology.
