The WR250R continues to amaze me with
it's versatility. Several days of the Mexico trip required going 70+ mph to reach the interior of Mexico on the tarmac. With the Madstad windscreen and a comfy aftermarket seat, the bike handles the highway very well. When going off-road, my friend on his beastly GS1200 was wishing he had a lighter bike.
I hope the web stories that Yamaha is planning to end the WR250R production is just a misplaced rumor. However, if they derived a WR450R with the same highway and dual-sporting characteristic that might be interesting.
