Picked up a 2008 wr250x about a month ago. So far so good! It's got pro tapers, a tuner, q4, airbox opened up and a few other goodies. I've been messing with it a bit and trying to make it my own. As with any new to me used bike every noise it makes sense me Into fits of paranoia. Other than that I'm really enjoying it! I've done loads of reading and I'm not sure what people are expecting power wise? My previous bike was a xr650r, tall, felt heavy, kick start only and dare I say it... More power than anyone needs for technical trails in New Mexico. This bike seems to have plenty of power to me, I'm running 14/49 and while my car is broken down i'm commuting 30 miles each way twice a week. Runs freeway speeds pretty easy with decent passing power. Anyways enough ranting, Happy to have the bike and happy to be here!
