hello there
just sing up to this awesome forum! specifically to wrr/x rides which a cool idea by the way, anyway im trying get some solution to issue i have from you guys have more experience than me

im ridding r model with sm wheels and 45t rear sproket and 114 or 115 chain links i think, what makes my speedometer and km counting be very discorrect, for exemple i check this once i had to ride exactly 50 km i look at the scale i was on 9,030 and finish it with 9,160!!
spedo count 130 km ride while it really was 50.. doubles it by 2.6.. and the sadest thing that im riding like this for like 3 mounts, seince like 5,500 km (now im on 9,500).
i bought from 12oclock labs the drd chip so it wont count kms doubles 2.6anymore.. but what i can not change is the km that alreay being counted, because i belive im standing on 6 to 7 km not almost 10..
what can i do about it? theres something i can do? can i low the km on the speedo? any other selution would be great because im lost in this problem
thanks everyone cheers

There is no such big difference between the stock 18" rear wheel and the 17" rear SM wheel to account for the 2.6x discrepancy, so something else was wrong with the calibration.

It seems that everything is fine now with the DRD chip and you want to fix the odometer to reflect the real distance covered? As far as I know there is no way to do such a roll back, in fact this is unlawful in the US. The only thing you can do is start under-counting the distance so eventually you converge to the value that you believe best reflects the actual distance covered -- but again, this is of doubtful legality.

Why do you even care about the odometer value? Are you trying to sell the bike? If that's the case, I think it's far better if you are honest in the ad, rather than trying to set a number you think is correct.

Sounds like the bike sat with a low battery and it messed up your cluster.

Search the forum and you will see cases where bikes sat with bad a battery (low voltage) for an extended period of time which messed up something in the cluster that increases the speed by about 3x.

You can replace the cluster (very expensive) or add a Speed-o-healer or the 12 O'Clocks lab module.

As far as I know there is nothing you can do to correct the mileage on the existing cluster.
