Hey looking to be able to pull 6th gear loaded on the highway, not going back to a 13T for sake of saving the slider.Anyone running this combo?

Thats almost what i use for tight enduro and singletrack.
14-48 should be well enough to do that, unless you have a really tall rear tire, and are bringing the kitchen sink. But were all different I guess
Have a look at www.gearingcommander.com

I'm running a 14-50T at the moment and it can't pull 6th very well unless it's flat or down hill.I'm 230lbs with riding gear and carry a fully loaded GL Coyote bag.I'm also 6'2" so a lot of wind drag i guess.I'm going to order it and we'll see how it goes.

Is your bike modded for more power in any way? What reartire are you using?
Im about 200lbs but naked, and 6'7, no problem reving free in 6th, slightly uphill using 14/48 Bike has opened the airbox a bit, and an aftermarked header and pipe.

No my bike isn't modded for more power in any way,i guess that's why i'm looking for a lower gear.
