The stock Bridgestone TW-302 isn't really cut out for the area I live in. However, I thought I would use my tire groover to make some changes to it and get a few miles out of them before I throw on new tires.
So the rage for trail riding in my area is Hybrid Trial/Knobbies which makes sense because there are long stretches of desert between ridiculous boulder fields and such. So I thought I would make a few grooves the TW-302 to make it into what I would consider a Hybrid Trials/50/50/Light ADV tire.
Running the rear tire at 15psi it hooks up really well in the rocks and still does well in sand and loose material.
There wasn't anything I could do with the stock front, swapped it out for Golden Tyre GT216DST
