Front Fender Removal?

Hey guys, new to the forum, and I don't even have a bike yet haha.

I was wondering about removing the front fender and headlight and replace the headlight with a more simple "naked" style if you know what I mean.

Has this ever been done before? If so then some pics maybe? And how much trash is gonna come up off the road and hit me if I remove the fender?

When riding in the wet, quite a bit. :)

I figured that might be an issue...

I doubt I will do much riding in the rain, what about just rocks and trash? Will those be a problem?

Anything that's sitting loosely on the pavement and gets picked up by the front tire could be thrown up into the air in front of you, only to bounce off your beak. :)

I know one guy somewhere installed an R6 style tire hugging fender.

It was pretty fugly.

No fender at all would be awful in my opinion.

Taking bike off road would suck, no mud, stay out of puddles, and rain would be downright shitty.

Yikes that thing looks........ umm interesting. It almost looks cool but also kinda like it was thrown through a wood chipper. I gotta hand to him for loosing a bunch of weight.

Saw that one. Doesn't look too bad. It's almost like that KTM "Cafe Moto" bike. I'd consider something similar but this is a good looking bike after losing the mirrors, rear fender and a clipped front.
