Just curious. After my little ride today i am assuming it is very hard if not impossible to highside on knobbies?

*course I was going slow so maybe it could happen with speed?

Oh, it's possible. I've done it a few times over the years. Rocks / deep ruts were usually involved. Highsiding 93746

How about on asphalt? I was riding a little too aggressively around a corner. Had the rear sliding on me around the corner. Backed off on the throttle a little too much. Got a little babble/bobble(?) out of it, but nothing else.

Most likely, if you got the back out too much, you'd just slide out and go down in a lowside.
Highside ain't impossible, though.

Try to swiftly counter steer right after engaging in a left curve at high speed.

Excellent series of photos of an SV650 highsiding. I think the rear wheel slide is already in progress in the first photo.
