PostSubject: My X thread   My X thread EmptyThu Jun 10, 2010 2:37 pm

I'm going to use this thread to update my progress with the bike.

I'll get some updated pictures shortly.

Video showing the LCD unit and the exhaust

Video of just the exhaust

Code:
Modifications:

Bridgestone BT016 tires [120/70, 150/60] (installed)
Edge tail light kit (installed)
Cycra pro bend guards with low-pro shields - black (installed)
Yamalink (installed)
Renthal 14T front sprocket (received)
GYTR rear sprocket (installed)
EK 520 chain (installed)
Pro Taper bars (installed)
3" bar end mirrors (installed)
MPFab turbo kit (installed)
Custom Leo Vince exhaust (ordered)
EBC carbon pads (installed)
Temporary exhaust (installed)
Power Commander LCD (ordered)
SupermotoEngineering.com front and rear sliders(installed)

The turbo kit is installed though I'm working through some minor issues (currently only running 6-7psi but MPFab is sending me an adjustable actuator).

Leo Vince has been a PITA this week, they send me the wrong mid-pipe for the custom kit I had them piece together for me, if they don't get it right today I'm going to return it all and go a different route.

Got a good deal on a Power Commander LCD unit, I plan to use it for a tach and also in conjunction with the Wideband2 unit so that I can monitor the bikes A/F, datalog, and make changes on the fly.

There we go. My X thread 93746 Interesting look with the blue painted black plastics. Kinda has a funky hue to it when the sun hits it. My X thread 61865

thumb They'll serve as the track plastics once I get around to ordering some black ones. They're actually coated with bedliner and seem to be very durable.

Guessing the track pics are old. Not seeing any extra pipes or a turbo sticking out in the pictures.

Waiting for pictures with turbo installed... My X thread 163123 My X thread 911463

I had a clear visor that day but it was far too hot to run with it down and the tinted visor provided a bit of shade. Don't worry though, nothing got in my eyes ;)

It's only running 6psi at the moment (waiting on a new actuator) but with the stock exhaust it put down 37rwhp thumb

It's pretty loud but it sounds great, idle isn't music to the ears but cruising around and getting in to boost sounds great, not what you would expect from an unbaffled exhaust.

I'll get some clips up soon.

LCD unit showed up today wings

It's going to be sweet having a tach on the bike and being able to log runs. I think I'm going to order the Wideband2 so that I can watch a/f's as well since it will show up on the screen and in the logs.

I should be able to make it to the spot tomorrow.

That's the Dynojet LCD unit, it plugs right in to the PC3 (there's a different model lcd for the PCV).

With it I can change maps, adjust fueling/trim/throttle, and log data.

I already have the DJ Hub and with the HUB+LCD I can display gear position and setup a shift light. Crazy versatile.

nice, I want gear position and shift light too. We'll talk the next time our paths cross. I'm pretty sure I'll be at the spot tomorrow.
