Last week on the road just north of our airport, I noticed what appeared to be a turn-out that lead to a small single track. Figured
I'd turn around and check it out.
The little trail soon turned in to this run-off:
The rut down the center was deep and the sides were steep. It was necessary to cross it a few times to get to the top.
At the top it opens up to a nice clearing.
The clearing offers a sweet view of the Fayetteville Airport
Over all this is a very short climb, maybe half a mile, but I thought it was still kinda cool.
It is real close to my house and offers some fairly technical challenges for me but not the R².
