WRR tires if you ride 90% street ?

I don't have much confidence in the stock rubber gripping in the corners. What would be a better choice for street riding tires on the WRR?

I've no experience other than with the OEM's, yet the stock trailwing tires are actually okay on the street. If you want something without knobs then there's the Pirelli MT90 A/T's, they look decent for road-oriented riding. There's also the Distanzia AM43 & AM44 in the WRR sizing, and Kenda K761's...

For pure street riding there's the Avon RoadRider AM26's in applicable sizes...

yeah, the stock tires seem to grip ok, but I'm trying to be careful in the wet conditions... the rubber seems kind of hard and I don't need that front end washing out in a corner. I'll let em wear out and then maybe go with something a little more soft and grippy.

I rode my WR-250R as a street-only bike last season, from March until September.
I used the stock Bridgestone tires it came with.
I rode the bike as if it were a light-weight sport bike, railing corners and having fun on back roads.
When they wore out, I got more of the same.

I felt they performed very well and gave the bike a good feel.
I think it you demand even more grip, you'll be looking for something that's basically a street-only tire. :)
