New guy from Northern IL

Hey guys new to the forum !!!!

I currently own a 2004 Yamaha R6 that I bought brand new in July of 04.
Before that I owned a 01 R6.
Been riding street for about 8 years or so.
Before the sport bikes I rode dirt bikes/enduros for around 5 years. Had a KDX 200, CR 250, and Cr 125.
I really want to buy a super moto as they look like alot of fun and I can ride on & off road.
Was at my dealer today and I can get a left over 2010 WR250X for $6,800 OTD including tax, title, plates etc.
Do you think this is a good deal? I tried to get them to go lower and they wouldn't.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger on it sometime this weekend...

Now on with lots of questions as I've been doing a lot of reading about mods and aftermarket parts.
I am very mechanically inclined and do all the work on my bikes.
Now this is a totally different engine than the R6 so I'm going to need some help with a few things.

Here is a list of aftermarket parts I'm going to get:

AIS removal kit (Heard it can be bad to do with stock exhaust?)
Twin air or no toil air filter
Handlebars (What do u guys recommend & what bend) Pro Taper or Easton?
Handguards (Zeta or Cycra)
Skid plate (Ricochet or Flatland?)
Radiator guard (Flatland)
Lots of carbon fiber guards (fork, chain guard, frame guards, rear caliper/disk)
Exhaust (Slip on) GYTR, Yosh, Two Bros, Big Gun EVO, FMF, Dr.D ???
With a slip on exhaust & aftermarket air filter will I need a fuel controller? On my R6 I have BMC filter & LevelOne Racing slip on exhaust & don't need one.
Driven chain kit (14/47)
PIAA H4 bulb
Muffler slider
T-Rex or SME front & rear axle sliders
Freedom case saver kit
Edge tail light kit
Speedohealer
Wide foot pegs
