13/45 with stock chain?

45 is +2 in the back, correct?

will it work with the stock length chain?

45 would be +3 on an X, + 2 for an R

It will fit, but it's at the max.

lol, i did, but i'm a little vain and want to ditch the ugly stock rear one as well... kill two birds with one stone, ya know?

ordered a 44 renthal

44 is on.. it's def the largest you can go on a stock X.. my adjusters are all the way in. i don't notice much difference in the way of acceleration. guess i was hoping for more.

oh well.

i'd like to ride a completely stock bike again to see how much of a difference all these mods have made. doing them one at a time each result is so minuscule it doesn't give you a full feeling of how much the bike may have changed.

The one thing I noticed with the gearing when i changed it was more use out of 6th and first wasn't so long legged. Off road it really was noticeable.

Oh yah, it makes 6th work on the road without having to downshift to accelerate.
