Quick Tech Q's Empty

1) Which side does the rear axle nut belong - chain or rotor side?

2) There are 2 metered spacers for the rear axle (with notches for adjusting the chain slack). One spacer has a slight flange on one side, the other is flat. Which side does the flanged spacer belong - chain or rotor?

Thanks.

Nut goes on the rotor side: The flange is to hold the head of the bolt to keep it from turning when you tighten the nut.

gatorfan, The flange holds the head of the bolt not the nut as I misspoke.
