OK, in reference to a rough chain on this post, my chain has some rough very stiff links.

I am looking at increasing the gearing to an O-ring chain with a 14/50, rather than deal with fixing or replacing the stock setup. Any issues with this, I was thinking the 50 tooth rear puts the chain lower to the rubber (or maybe touching the rubber) on the rear sprocket chain guide.

Looking at a Sprocet Center Superlite RK purchase, with a 14/50:

Not looking for the best, but cost effective upgrade.
