rim stripes

Does any one know where I would be able to get some rim stripes for my 08 X

What size would I order the stripes?

Would a straight line stripe work from a graphics shop.?

You can get pre-curved stripes on eBay. That's where I've always gotten mine. You would want the ones made for a 17" wheel. They're relatively cheap. I went with reflective ones for the added visibility in the darker hours.

A straight roll of tape might work. I haven't tried it. I would think it wouldn't work as well though.

My stripes were a straight roll of tape. wery cheap too (for sweden sort of.....) only about 10$

It really helps you out if you have any kind of service/ race stand because you want to roll the wheels every once......

What thickness of mm stripes would b the right size

The width is personal preference. I imagine you could go as wide as 3/8". I believe mine are 1/4".
Spraying denatured alcohol on the rim while you apply them helps a lot. It allows you to move them a little bit as needed, or peel them up completely if you really fudge it up. I tried without it and ruined one of the pieces (they came in 18 pieces, two spare; one piece did 1/4 of the wheel).
