New exhaust, what do you think?

Is the shifter side a different can - or is it just missing the end piece. Diameter of opening looks different than other side.

its a dual can setup for a crf250.

i got it off craigslist and wanted to modify it for the wr. then realized it was titanium and i dont have a hood/gas set up to be able to weld titanium so i tried to sell it.

been a while now still has not sold so i decided to just get some stainless pipe adapters and hook it all up.


The cans are the same size, but one side has a smaller input/output hole than the other.

so its louder idling and in the low rpm, its a lot deeper less "pingy" sounding.

but cruising i think it might actually be quieter then the stock exhaust with no SA.

it also shoot flames out pretty hard on decel sometimes so need to tweak the fmf a little

any pics of the finished product? im planning to build a setup similar to this.

i would hazard a guess the diameter difference is due to the y section length difference, to try and get something resembling even flow between them

Looks dope. as long as they match...looks like you had the silencer in one of them.

The holes in the pipes are different sizes because it allows both silencers to be used. the dual exhaust was origionally designed by Honda to give the 250 more bottom end power.
