New member in New Orleans

Just bought new 2012 WR250R. Will pick it up tomorrow, extremely bad weather here now, couldnt take it home today.
Might leave work early tomorrow to get it, depending on weather.

O.K. I have to ask, what do you call "extremely bad weather?

It's 10* F here, freezing rain on top of snow. 50 mph winds. - No kidding.

I'm so desperate to go riding, if it warms up to 32*F, and I see bare roads, I'm going riding!!!!!!!!

Well it will take some getting used to.
Last dirt bike I had was a Suzuki RMX250 2 stroke and several sportbikes, (none fuel injected)

PUt about 40 miles on it so far, mostly on the street. Was going to ride in some wooded areas here, but with the rivers here past floodstage, couldn't get to any spots.

Had to adjust the throttle cable, way to much play in it.

I also went to take out my spark arrestor and 2 of the bolts were cross threaded and snapped off.
The exact same thing happened to my Yamaha 4 wheeler. Sigh!
