Just bought the FMF Q4 with the header and the programmer... it's on it's way.

I was lazy and just bought it all directly from FMF. Overall about $800 for everything.

I just finished putting it all on yesterday and I'm a tad disappointed at the amount of improvement in perceivable power. I'm not getting the added "pop" that everyone seems to say they're getting. I've definitely noticed an improvement, just not as much as I thought it would be.

I haven't taken it out since I gutted the airbox so maybe that will help as well. Also, I am certain that I need to tweak the FI programmer numbers to maximize the fuel scheduling.

...that's odd. My X has the smog removed, flapper gone, EXUP gone, and the little GYTR plug thingie with a K&N and the Yosh RS2 pie with the FMF programmer (base settings).
It's very noticeable compared to my buddies stock bike. Only thing he has is the airbox opened up.
In a drag race I can pretty much pull away from him.

Yeah... I thought it was weird as well. I removed the EXUP, AIS and flapper and it is definitely better, just not "lift the front wheel in 2nd & 3rd" better.

I'm going to play with the numbers and see what happens. I have a stock WRR as well so I think I'll ride them back to back today for a better comparison.
