Seriously?

How many different answers do you think you'll get?

Which answer would you prefer to hear?

Some mods are free. Do those count?

depends on the rider and what is most important to him or her

for me i would say

1) more teeth on the rear sprocket
2) suspension
3) exhaust & programmer (with exhaust mods like air box and ais)
4) tires
5) everything else

Farkle the Crap out of that thing and it will make you Farkle in return. thumb Have fun with it - do it 1 piece at a time.

Thanks cryptomundo.
Rear sprocket sounds cheap and easy. Will this give me more torque (low end) or Top end speed? Sounds like I would get quicker performance results than going with a programmer. Im eventually going to do them all but thanks for the info.

Depends on which way you go with your gearing.

Are you new to motorcycles?

Does a turbo count as one mod? Very happy
Anyhow, if I could only "buy" one, it would probably be the programmer, then I would modify the stock exhaust and take off the air box door. In stock form, ol girl just cant breathe. Have to loosen the brazier before she can rock your world.

Smaller on the front, lower top speed, more umph...
Smaller on the back, higher top speed, less umph...
Bigger would do the opposites

Do something like this

I'm assuming we're talking about a WR-250R used off-road at least a good portion of the time.

Tires intended for the job.
However, to be honest, picking just one modification is kinda' like picking what limb you'd want to sever from your body. ;)

When it was an R? Flatlands protection package from Dual Sport Armory. Skidplate, rad guard, and luggage rack.

As an X? I dunno... the seat? Suspension? Its a damn good bike from the factory imo.
