So I put my IMS 3.1 gallon on today. The tank itself is great but I wasn't too thrilled about the fit. I played around with the brackets for about an hour and this si the best I could come up with. Because I beat the crap out of this bike I'm not overly worried about the looks but I guess I thought it would fit up a little better. Pics....

And some overall pics of the bike. Almost ready for the Pine Barrens 300. Just needs some new rubber.

Looks like a good job to me, we'll have to see how I do when I mount mine up.

Which brackets did you have issues with? Everything else went ok?

The two brackets that hold on the front shrouds have to be bent to get the shrouds to slide on. They are rectangular shape and screw to the tank. I had to play a little bit on how much to bend them so that the shords line up with the holes on the radiator and fuse side.

I'm not thrilled about the fit overall. There is quite a gap between the seat and frame and the shrouds stick out farther than the seat in the back.

I guess it's really a dirt bike so it's not a big deal but I was just hoping for a cleaner fit.

Just installed one today. I have a little extra gap also where the seat curves.
Doesn't bother me. Install went real good. Filled it up with 3 gal, went for a good
ride and I couldn't feel a difference in the handling with the extra weight. I
like..... thumb
