Here's the description:
Dyno and field tested, the Power Surge 6X is a next generation performance tuning product for modern EFI systems, will allow correction for humidity, temperature, air pressure, along with race fuels and motor modifications. The tuner adjusts in a matter of seconds in 6 zones, including an accelerator pump feature for more throttle snap response. The tuner can add or subtract fuel from the injection system. Conditions like rich or lean running, and stalling from flame-out at low revs can be corrected. The Power Surge 6X stays mounted on the motorcycle or quad and is easy to understand and adjust.
The part about the accelerator pump feature for more throttle snap response is what stood out.
I called them and asked if it could be used with a stock or after market pipe and they said both.
They also said that if used with a stock pipe that you would need to cap the CO2 sensor on the stock pipe since it's not compatible w/ the tuner and would override the settings.
This is all new to me so I'm just passing along what I've been told.
Anyway, was wondering if someone else had gone down this path w/ JD Jetting.
I've used their jet kits for my carb dirtbikes w/ great sucess. The EFI world is totally new to me.
