Triple clamp bolts

Been lurking unregistered for a while but decided to finally register. Hello :-)

I need new triple clamp bolts but dont know in what material. What material is the upper triple clamp made of? Ive got a feeling its aluminium but are aluminium bolts really strong enough?

The reason i dont just get some stainless steel ones is that i really want to avoid corrosion, unless the clamp is made from steel?

The stock bolts are plated steel and the tripple clamps are aluminium.

It will take a lot of years before the plated bolts get corroided, stainless bolts will work fine too.

Aluminium bolts would be too soft and strip too easily.

A little anti-seize on the bolt threads will keep the steel and aluminum from sticking together.

What kind of anti-sieze should i use?

I think I have Permatex brand. Get the smallest tube available, it goes a long way.

It can magically appear on fingers or anything it gets close to and it's a good conductor so be very carefull when applying to spark plug threads that it doesn't get on the insulator.

Buy and torque wrench. If you torque the bolts right they won't pick up.
