Hello, am new to this forum, expatriate in East Africa but spending my summer in France. Am looking into getting my first bike this summer. I have very little riding experience and thought the 250 category would be good to start with. Looking at DP bikes although mainly for road use, the wr 250 seems to get all the top reviews. looking forward to getting mine. Any advice for near complete beginners? am 40 year old, just wanting to get fun on 2 wheels. am 6"02, 85 kgs.
the one am getting is a 250 r, with stock tyres.
