Sanded with 3000 and painted my beat up wr250x extra set of plastics, with the clear coat below. Looks great but lets see how it holds up with normal use.

Comparison in direct sunlight. Left the plastics where a few days old and right with the clear coat.

You said you painted the plastics, did you do that before you put the clear coat on? did you paint the plastics black? and where did you find that clear coat?

I have another question or two, when you sanded the plastics did you sand it until it was flat or where there some tiny scratches still left that the coating filled in? also what did you use to apply the clear coat?
