I'm trying to put a new T63 (130/80-18) on the rear, but the bead on one side just doesn't want to seat properly. Are there any tricks to it? Last time I did it, it just popped into place, as I recall. But that was a 120/80-18, and I had a air compressor that would fill the tire in a few seconds. I only have a ahnd pump available right now.
I've tried a few things so far:

1. Lube the area that doesn't seat with window cleaner, and even the whole way around.
2. Put more air into it than recommended (up to 3 bar, 1,25 more than recommended)
3. Carefully driving around, in hope the bumps in the road would make it pop into place.
4. Bouncing and whacking the tire.

Driving around on it actually worked to some extend, but it still wasn't perfect. I've taken the wheel back off, and I've tried whacking the tire, but that doesn't seem to work either. I'm getting sick of this. Do you guys have any tips and tricks I could try out?

Better lube, more pressure, maybe 4-5 bar. (I knew a girl like that once)

I don't know what your temperatures are, but warmer tires seem to work much easier.
If it's cool in the shop, take the wheel/tire off lower the pressure a bit for safety & warm it up, then try airing it up a bit.

I took the bike for another ride yesterday, and it appears to have set properly now. I hit about 65 (actual) miles per hour a few times, and that's probably what did it. That, or the awfully bumpy roads we got here whacked it into place.
I did the front today (also a T63), and encountered the exact same problem. So I floored it, so to speak, and now it too seems fine. Granted, it was getting dark, so I didn't inspect them thoroughly. It felt nice, and smooth to ride, though, even without balancing.

I like the idea of warming the tires beforehand. If it's too cold outside next time (these days it's about 7°C/44,6°F in southern Norway, by the way), then I'll try placing the tires in front of the A/C or something.  Very happy
