 Identifying unused electrical connectors

I just bought a used 2008 and was giving it a good once-over to check everything and learn the bike. I found two unused electrical connectors and was wondering if anyone knows what their purpose might be. I've checked the fiche and couldn't identify them. Does anyone know what they're for?

This first one is zip tied to the bracket under the rectifier. It's kind of dull turquoise:

The second is under the seat. It's prop'ed up by the blue rag:

They were caked with dirt so I just cleaned them up and covered them with electrical tape.

That's left-over crap from AIS and Flapper removal.
