PostSubject: Rear shock   Rear shock EmptyFri Jun 27, 2014 6:41 pm

Hi everyone. I have around 17,000km on my wr. I have noticed oil leaking from my rear shock. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on their bike? Or if anyone has replaced the shock. If so, is it difficult to replace? Any info on what to
Do will help. Thanks.

Don't replace the shock, but have it repaired.

I bought the 2008 WR-250X I once rode used in December of 2010, if I recall.
When I tore into the bike, I noticed there was shock oil leaking past the shaft seal.
I sent the shock to Go Race Suspension in VW. for repair, and it then worked perfectly for the time I rode the bike.

If you cant get the shock to go race, race tech has every thing needed to fix the shock, theres lots of race tech dealers around.

Fixing it isnt a huge deal and they cost a furtune to replace.
