Hi, I am going to get my WR250R this weekend. I'm still on the fence. One side is a used '11 WR250R with FMF pipe, handguards, rack, and 3 gallon tank for $4500 OR, on the other side, a brand new 2014 WR250R from a dealer. If I get the latter I hope to get some free stuff thrown in (maybe a helmet etc) and will add a skid plate, handguards and fender kit. I am planning to use my WR for travel to and from work (24 miles) and off road fun whenever possible.
I have owned several motorcycles so far in my life and have over 205,000 miles on two wheels. The WR is going to be my last motorcycle. I plan to retire in 8 years (I'm 48 right now) and the wife and I are going to do some RVing.
I've been out of motorcycles for about 6 years and am looking forward to getting my WR. I did have a DR650 once and loved it. Being off road and having fun is really nice. Thanks for having me. WRR's rock!
