I have a new 2014 WRR and wondering what settings are from factory on rebound and preload? I know I can follow manual and do the clicks but not sure what I want to attain. I am 170 lbs and new and older rider. In addition I want to lower the bike a bit and will do the stock lowering and Yamalink at same time. The manual states there is a Standard, Minimum and Maximum setting for the preload and rebound. Most of my riding will be gravel/dirt roads, mild single track and the Transamerica Trail next summer with minimum extra weight. For my weight and experience what do you think I should shoot for?

The best thing you can do is read the owners manual and try different settings, thats what I did , they set mine up for my weight 210 and I found it too stiff for the riding I did, the best part it teaches you how to actually do the settings. I went to the softest setting then back 5 clicks on all mine, works for me so far but I only have about 1000 miles on my 2014, cheers
